NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi will receive sealed proposals/bids until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2020 in the City Clerk’s Office in the City Hall of said City furnishing the City’s requirements of the following items for Hub City Transit, to-wit:
Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) Transportation Services
The above shall propose/bid upon and deliver as per detailed specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk, P.O. Box 1898, 200 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 39403-1898, (601) 545-4552 which may be obtained upon request and on line at www.hattiesburgms.com/mpo.
Each PROPOSAL/BID must be received in a sealed envelope which is marked in the lower left-hand corner with the word “PROPOSAL/BID” and the NAME OF THE ITEM, which is “JARC Transportation Services” and the DATE OF BID OPENING.
The best bid received will be accepted, subject to the provisions of Section 31-7-13 of the Mississippi Code of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated as Amended, and other applicable State law; but the Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities.
