LEGAL NOTICE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT BID
By order of the Board of Aldermen, Town of Sumrall, Mississippi, Notice is hereby given that the Town of Sumrall will accept sealed bids for the following certificates of deposit:
1 certificate of deposit for approximately $289,903.23
2 certificates of deposit with 1 for $150,000.00 and 1 for approximately $139,903.23
1 certificate of deposit for approximately $50,000.00
1 certificate of deposit for approximately $100,000.00
A total of 1, 2, 3, and or 4 certificates of deposit may be accepted.
All bids should be submitted for both a 1 year term CD, a 2 year term CD option, and any special options your financial institution may offer; with interest being compounded monthly and interest being reinvested in the certificate of deposit.
Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope with “CD BID” printed on the front of envelope, and mailed to P. O. Box 247, Sumrall, or hand delivered to 4880 Hwy 589, Sumrall. Sealed bids will be accepted until 10:00 am on June 2, 2020, at which time bids will be opened. The Town has the right to reject any and or all bids.
