PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition has been filed by Terry Jackson, Jr., Applicant, and Tony Garino, LeHigh Hanson, Inc., Owner, as required in the Land Development Code, Ord. No. 3209, to change the zoning classification for a certain property located at 119 Oak St. (Parcel 2-030L-11-138.01, PPIN 20306, Ward 2) from Section 4.5.3, R-1A (Single Family Residential) to Section 4.5.10, B-3 (Commercial Business) District. Said property being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
TRACT 1:
All that part of Lots 11,12,13 and 14 of Block 4 of the R.A. Magruder Addition to the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, lying West of a line parallel with and 50 feet West of the center line of the main track of the Mississippi Central Railroad Company as now located and constructed across said lots.
TRACT 2:
LTS 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in block 4 of R.A. Marred Survey of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
TRACT 3:
A part of lots 15, 16 and 17 in Block 4 of the R.A Magruder Addition of the city of Hattiesburg, Mississippi as per map or plat thereof on file in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Forrest County, Mississippi, said part of said lots being more particularly described as
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 15 in said Block 4 of said Survey and run thence in an easterly direction along the North line of said Lot15 a distance of one hundred twenty-five feet (125’) more or less, to a point fifty feet (50’) West of the center line of the main track of the Mississippi Central Railroad Company, measured at right angles, thereto, thence southeasterly parallel with and fifty feet (50’) West of the center line of said main track for a distance of one hundred fifty-nine and seven-tenths feet (159-7’), more or less, to the South line of Lot No.17, thence West along the South line of Lot No. 17 a distance o one hundred eighty feet (180’), more or less, to the Southwest corner of said Lot 17, thence in a northerly direction along the West line of Lot 17, 16, and 15 a distance of one hundred fifty feet (150’) to the point of beginning, containing 22,075 sq.ft., more or less, as showing red lines on the blue print her to attached and made a part hereof as fully and completely as if copied herein in full, all of the above described property being a part of and located in the Southwest Quarter (SWq) of the Northwest Quarter (NWq) of Section 11, Township 4 North Range 13 West in said Forrest County, Mississippi.
A PUBLIC HEARING in relation to the above described petition will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center, First Floor, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, before the Planning Commission of said City, at which time and at which hearing all parties of interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
