Hope Broome
Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO of PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Hope Broome to Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Barnes stated, “Hope’s extensive banking experience and commitment to her clients make her an invaluable member of the PriorityOne team. Her leadership and expertise in commercial lending have been vital to the success in our Hattiesburg area, and we are excited to see her excel in this elevated role.”
Broome brings over 28 years of experience to her role as Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at PriorityOne Bank. Since rejoining the bank in 2021, she has served as Vice President, Loan Officer at the Bellevue location. She previously worked with PriorityOne Bank from 2000 to 2008 as Vice President, Branch Manager, and Loan Officer. Broome holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Banking and Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking.
Hope has also served her community in multiple leadership roles. She is a member of the Hattiesburg Area Association of Realtors, Hattiesburg Homebuilder’s Association, American Cancer Society, and March of Dimes, and a former member of both the Women’s Advisory Board at Merit Health Wesley and the University of Southern Mississippi Foundation Board of Directors. She is an active member of First Baptist Church of Purvis.
Hope and her husband, Mark, reside in Hattiesburg and have one son, Jon Tyler.
Carlos Brown
Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO of PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Carlos Brown to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lender at the bank’s Hattiesburg location. Barnes stated, “Carlos is a dedicated professional whose leadership and lending experience have made a meaningful impact at PriorityOne. We’re proud to recognize his contributions with this well-earned promotion.”
Carlos earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Mississippi. He is a 2015 graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking and is currently enrolled in the LSU Graduate School of Banking. He is also part of the Foundations of Leadership Class of 2025.
Prior to joining PriorityOne Bank, Carlos held positions at Citizens National Bank as Bank Manager and at BancorpSouth as a Management Trainee, Teller, Customer Service Representative, and Loan Assistant. Since joining PriorityOne, he has served as Vice President, Lender.
Carlos is active in the Hattiesburg community, serving as Treasurer of the Pinebelt Foundation and as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Pinebelt. He also serves on the MYB Council for the 2022–2025 term.
A lifetime member of Norfield Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS, Carlos lives in Hattiesburg with his wife, Karrie Leggett-Brown, and their two children, Sawyer-Lynnox and Stone — along with their family dog, Gradie Duce.
Adam Carlson
Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO of PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Adam Carlson to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Barnes stated, “Adam has shown outstanding financial expertise and leadership during his time with PriorityOne Bank. His expertise in financial management has been a key factor in the bank’s success, and we are excited to have him continue to lead our financial operations.”
Adam Carlson brings extensive financial expertise and leadership to his role as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at PriorityOne Bank. Since joining the bank in 2017, he has played a pivotal role in its financial management, previously serving as Vice President, Controller, and later as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.
Carlson is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Mississippi who holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi and an undergraduate degree in Banking and Finance from Mississippi State University. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University. Furthering his professional education, he successfully completed The Mississippi School of Banking at Ole Miss and the Financial Managers School at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Carlson is deeply involved in his community. He serves as Treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 90, a Board Member for Hattiesburg Futbol Club, a Finance Committee Member at Heritage Church, and a Banking and Finance Committee Member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). Additionally, he is an alumnus of Simpson County Leaders and Leadership Mississippi.
Carlson and his wife, Carrie Ann, reside in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with their three children: Barrett, Langley, and Brandt.
Francis Wright
Robert J. Barnes, President and CEO of PriorityOne Bank, recently announced the promotion of Francis Wright to Vice President, Loan Officer at the bank’s Hattiesburg location. Barnes stated, “Francis brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and a strong sense of community to his work. His commitment to serving our customers make him a tremendous asset to our team, and we look forward to seeing him thrive in his new role.”
Francis has been with PriorityOne Bank since 2020, and was previously Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in General Business from Mississippi State University and a certificate in Financial Planning from Northwestern University. He has served his community in multiple leadership roles and is currently a Finance Committee Member at Heritage Methodist Church in Hattiesburg.
Francis and his wife, Frances, reside in Hattiesburg, with their two children, Major and Anderson. In his spare time, Francis enjoys hunting, fishing, and coaching youth baseball.
