PRCC's unforgettable season ends in National Championship game

ENID, Okla. — An unforgettable 2025 season came to an end for the Pearl River baseball team as one of the top two teams in the nation, falling in the National Championship to Pasco-Hernando.

The No. 1 Bobcats rallied back in the late innings to defeat the No. 2 Wildcats 11-7 and claim the title.

Pearl River's Govan-Williams adds proven leader to staff

Pearl River head women's basketball coach Shanae Govan-Williams did not go far to find her assistant for the 2025-2026 season. Govan-Williams named former Coahoma assistant coach Quinton Pippen to her staff. Pippen spent the past two seasons on Govan-Williams' staff at Coahoma.
