Petal Band Boosters, in support of and cooperation with the Petal Band, will co-host the fourth annual Gary Graves Memorial Invitational, a grand event beginning at 10:30 a.m. on October 19 at Petal High School's Panther Stadium. The 2024 Gary Graves Memorial Invitational will feature 26 marching bands from across Mississippi in a competition of epic proportions.
"We are so excited to welcome the bands and deliver a day full of musical experiences and great food for audiences of all ages," said Roy Freeman, a Board Director of Petal Band Boosters. "In true Petal fashion, the experience will strive to exceed our guests' expectations."
After almost four months of meticulous planning, the organization is eagerly anticipating the arrival of thousands of visitors to the Friendly City for this exciting event.
"Our renowned event, attention to detail, and many supportive parents will all play into the event's success," said Ashley Freeman, Chairwoman of Petal Band Boosters.
