Mrs. Bobbie Louise Davis (91), of Kiln formerly of Long Beach, went home to be with her Lord on March 3, 2023, in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was raised in Purvis, Mississippi where she attended Yawn School. Mrs. Davis was a member of First Baptist of Lyman, she worked at J C Penny most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugen Calvin Dewease and Daisy Melvina (Strahan) Dewease; granddaughter, Tracy Ladner; brothers, Robert Dewease, Elbert Dewease, Eugene Dewease, and Wille Dewease. She is survived by her sons, Raymond Ladner (Betsy) of Kiln, and Phillip Ladner of Gulfport; grandchildren Shawn Ladner, Carol Kellar (Gordon), Warren Ladner (Melissa), Jared Ladner (Julie), Jeffrey Ladner; great-grandchildren, Noah Burnside, Corey Ladner (Shawna), Jonah Burnside, Jackson Ladner, Leah Ladner; great-great-granddaughter, Taylonn Ladner, sister, Cecile McCardle and brother, Don Dewease. A graveside service will be held at Slade Cemetery in Purvis, Mississippi at 10 a.m. March 9, 2023. Moore Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
