Sue Stokes (83), of Petal, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at her home. Visitation will be Friday, July 29, 2022 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Petal Harvey Baptist Church with services immediately following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Stokes was retired as a Librarian at Petal Middle School and was a member of Petal Harvey Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie O. Stokes, Sr. and her son, Robert Stokes.
She is survived by three sons, Willie O. Stokes, Jr. (Stephanie) of Franklin, TN., Tommy Stokes (Tammy) of Santa Fe, TN., and Timmy Stokes (Lorine) of Carthage, MS; one daughter, Susan Ball (Ricky) of Petal, MS; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
