As the days grow shorter and the temperatures drop, images of colored leaves, pumpkins and gourds lead us to think of the upcoming winter. Autumn is the season where animals big and small hurriedly stash bits of food for the cold days ahead.
Miniatures artist, Paula Cruz, a former school teacher who sees retirement as a great adventure and fantastic journey, has designed cozy homes for these little furry friends. Paula’s love of nature inspires her creations of natural scenes that have a mystical touch.
In November at the Hattiesburg Pocket Museum, visitors will get a peek into a world meant for fairies and gnomes, but inhabited by tiny mice.
This is Paula Cruz’s second exhibit for the Hattiesburg Pocket Museum, and she is scheduled for a third exhibit during Earth Month in 2025!
