Domino’s has long been established in Petal, but now the company is bringing a new “theatrical” concept to the Friendly City.
The Petal Domino’s – which was formerly located on Morris Street – recently relocated to 1272 Evelyn Gandy Parkway, Suite 10, with a new “pizza theater” design. The pizza theater allows customers an interactive experience with indoor seating, free Wi-Fi, an open viewing area to watch the pizza-making process, a drive-through for carryout orders and the ability to electronically track carryout orders on a lobby screen.
In addition, customers can use an in-store chalkboard to draw, write messages or leave feedback for Domino’s staff.
“It really is meant to bring the art of fun of pizza-making to the forefront,” said Dani Bulger, public relations specialist at Domino’s. “With our old stores, all of that was kind of hidden in the back, but now it’s right up front.”
To celebrate the new store, officials will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. May 11 at the Evelyn Gandy Parkway location. On May 12, the store will offer medium one-topping pizzas for $3.99 each.
In addition, customers can register until May 12 to win a new Yeti cooler, the winner of which will be announced during a drawing the next day.
“We’re really excited to bring the Domino’s pizza theater concept to people in Petal,” Bulger said. “It’s a really fun, new store – it’s gorgeous.
“It’s a really nice store, and we hope everyone comes out and has a chance to check it out.”
