Jaclyn M. Adams recently joined Citizens National Bank’s South Mississippi Region as a vice president and relationship banker. In this position, she will be responsible for managing all aspects of her commercial loan and deposit portfolio. She will also be highly focused on building and maintaining client relationships.
With 14 years of banking experience to her credit, Adams was most recently employed with BancorpSouth in Hattiesburg as a vice president and commercial lender. The earlier days of her career were spent at Hancock Whitney where she was promoted to serve as an assistant vice president and branch manager of various locations in Petal, Hattiesburg, and Sumrall during her employment with the Bank.
Actively involved in the local community, Adams serves as a member of the Community Impact Executive Committee for the United Way of Southeast Mississippi and will be joining the United Way’s Executive Board in April. The United Way also recognized her as their Volunteer of the Year for their fiscal year of 2017-2018.
Her additional community involvement includes serving as the current treasurer and past president of the board for the Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center in Hattiesburg, which serves children who have become victims of child abuse. Adams has been a member of the Rotary Club of Hattiesburg since 2008. Prior to serving as club president for the 2016-2017 term, she also served as sergeant at arms.
In 2016, she was named the T. C. Hanna Rotarian of the Year and received the Pine Belt Young Professionals “Community Service Award.”
She and her husband, Casey, have been married for 14 years and attend Venture Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
