The Downtown Hattiesburg Association, along with 1,200 of its friends and visitors, celebrated the craft beer industry on Saturday at the seventh annual Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival in Town Square Park.
Presented in partnership with Corner Market, the 2019 festival saw a growth in attendance, offerings, and excitement.
As a part of the FestivalSouth celebration, the festival focuses on the brewers and artisans of the industry, highlighting the uniqueness and creativity of craft beers and those who brew it. Samples of more than 100 beers from 28 breweries throughout the country were available to attendees.
The coveted “People’s Choice Award” for brewers went to Fourth Generation Brewing of Columbia for its popular bacon-flavored beer.
