Two contracts for Phase II renovation and construction work at Hattiesburg High School and at elementary schools throughout the Hattiesburg Public School District were approved by the HPSD Board of Trustees during its regular meeting Oct. 8 at the district’s boardroom.
According HPSD Superintendent Robert Williams, the Phase II work at HHS includes renovation of the campus gymnasium to revert it back from use as classrooms to its original purpose, adding additional classrooms, and replacing mechanical heating and cooling infrastructure at the campus’s original two-story structure.
