The First Bank and Pinebelt Foundation will co-host the fifth annual “Investment Outlook Dinner” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Southern Oaks House & Gardens.
The Pinebelt Foundation hosts this annual dinner for anyone interested in learning about the current status of the investment landscape. Attendees will hear analysis of the current condition of the state of Mississippi and U.S. economy as well as the global economic outlook.
“This year should be especially enlightening based on the recent stock market volatility,” said Brady Raanes, CFP, CFA, president of the Pinebelt Foundation.
The dinner provides opinions and analysis from different experts in the financial field, including Lorrie Tingle, chief investment officer of Mississippi’s Public Employee Retirement System (PERS), Gubernatorial candidate and current Lt. Governor Tate Reeves, and Kevin Giddis, the head of Fixed Income and Capital Markets for Raymond James.
“The panelists will address topics such as interest rate movements, political concerns, and the outlook for the stock market,” said Mit Cole, Executive Vice President in Private Banking for The First, “The dinner is designed to be educational and entertaining while framing the conversation in an understandable manner.”
