Hub Holiday, LLC announces the opening of the new-build 128-room Holiday Inn hotel in Hattiesburg. This new hotel is located just across the street from Lake Terrace Convention Center.
Intercontinental Hotels Group, one of the world's leading hotel companies, is the parent company of the Holiday Inn brand.
The Holiday Inn - Hattiesburg management team is led by Bob Cox, the property's general manager. Cox has been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years and has opened several hotels across the country during his time in the industry, but says this one feels different.
"This new hotel has an excitement around it like nothing I've seen before,” he said. “The entire team has been putting in long hours to make sure everything just right. We are proud to add 128 rooms to the already impressive hotel room inventory Hattiesburg currently has. The Holiday Inn - Hattiesburg includes an outdoor swimming pool, a fully-equipped fitness center, more than 2,100 square feet of meeting space, and Keurig brewers in every room. IHG Connect, which provides a seamless Internet experience, is available for guests as well.
The Holiday Inn - Hattiesburg will also feature Burger Theory, the brand's full-service restaurant concept that offers a customizable menu with more than 4,000 potential burger combinations and a large selection of craft beers and cocktails, in a fun, inviting and lively atmosphere.
The hotel is located at 6553 U.S. 49 in Hattiesburg.
