Robert Heath, M.D., was recently recognized with a reception and plaque for his extraordinary leadership in healthcare for more than 20 years as medical director and attending physician at Bedford Care Center-Monroe Hall.
In addition to being medical director, Heath serves on various healthcare committees for Bedford Care Center leading clinical teams to be top performers in core metrics such as low readmission rates, top therapeutic pharmaceutical interventions, shorter lengths of stay and successful discharges of our patients.
Under Heath’s leadership, Bedford Care Center-Monroe Hall received the National Bronze Quality Award in 2014 and 2018.
Heath is also a practicing physician at Petal Family Practice in Petal. He resides with his wife in Hattiesburg.
