NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, a disturbance will continue to press into the
western part of the country, spreading snow across a wide
swath of the Intermountain West through the day, especially
from Idaho across parts of Nevada, Utah and Colorado. A
second zone of accumulating snow will develop within the
Cascades of Washington and Oregon, with rain showers
extending westward to the coast as far south as Northern
California. Farther east, a broad zone of rain will stretch
from South Dakota southward as a developing storm tracks
across the southern Plains, with showers and even some
thunderstorms from eastern Kansas toward the Red River. Some
storms may turn severe from Oklahoma into Texas in the
afternoon. Otherwise, much of the nation will be dry outside
of some snow showers for interior parts of the Northeast.
