Ahead of the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition scheduled for July 18 and 19, 47 contestants were welcomed to the Hub City for their week-long endeavor toward the crown. This is the seventy-sixth Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition and the twenty-eighth year that Hattiesburg has hosted the event.
Inspired by Visit Mississippi’s 2025 campaign highlighting the state as the “Birthplace of America’s Music,” the theme of the competition this year is, “A Tribute to America’s Music.” The event will include special entertainment to honor Mississippi’s legendary musical contributions including blues, country and rock ‘n’ roll.
While tickets for the event are sold-out, the event will be live-streamed on the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition’s Facebook and YouTube pages beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
