Mississippi Business Journal’s annual Top 40 Under 40 luncheon is set to honor two Pine Belt honorees, Dr. Katie Anthony, Dean of graduate studies at the University of Southern Mississippi, and Grace Johnson, founder of Bread Agency and co-founder of Blue Hen Agency. The luncheon will be held in Jackson on June 25 and features Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hoseman as the keynote speaker.
“This annual event recognizes emerging leaders from across Mississippi who are under the age of 40 and are already making a significant contribution in their communities and industries,” said J. Scott Coopwood, publisher and owner of the Mississippi Business Journal. “The 2025 honorees are from diverse fields, including business, community involvement, and more.”
“Being named one of Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 is an incredible honor, but what means the most is being able to represent the Pine Belt,” said Johnson. “This is home. It’s where my roots are firmly planted, where my business was built, and where the people I care most about continue to show up for one another. I’m most appreciative of the recognition, but even more thankful for the community that’s shaped me every step of the way.”
Honorees are nominated through social media and other platforms established by the Mississippi Business Journal and are selected by a panel of business and community leaders.
