In response to COVID-19, William Carey University will host virtual commencement ceremonies.
The commencements will be streamed at wmcarey.edu, and they will be viewable after they air.
Five ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 16. The first ceremony begins at 10 a.m. and will include undergraduate and graduate students from the Ralph and Naomi Noonkester School of Arts and Letters, the School of Business, the Donald and Frances Winters School of Music, and the Cooper School of Missions and Ministry Studies.
The second ceremony is at 11 a.m. and includes education specialist and doctoral students from the School of Education and students from the Master of Biomedical Science program. The third ceremony is at 1 p.m. and includes undergraduate and graduate students from the School of Education.
The fourth ceremony begins at 2 p.m. and will honor undergraduate and graduate students from the College of Health Sciences and the School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences. Doctoral students from the Joseph and Nancy Fail School of Nursing will also be honored during this ceremony. The final ceremony is at 3 p.m. and is for all Tradition campus students.
The virtual commencement ceremony for the College of Osteopathic Medicine will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 23.
William Carey previously held Honors Day ceremonies for both the Hattiesburg and Tradition campuses virtually, and those ceremonies can be viewed on the university’s website.
