Presbyterian Christian School has announced that Michael Brown has resigned from his position as head football coach. The search for new leadership will begin immediately as PCS prepares to transition into the MHSAA.
Brown led the Bobcats for the last two years, which he finished with an 8-14 overall record. This past season the Bobcats finished with a 5-6 mark.
“Michael Brown has poured into our student-athletes, shaping them into better men who will carry his impact forward for years to come," said PCS Headmaster Jimmy Messer in a press release. "We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors and are confident he will excel wherever his career leads.”
Before joining PCS, he served as assistant head Coach at Hoover High School in Birmingham, Alabama, bringing valuable experience and commitment to player development both on and off the field.
“We know that God has prepared the right person to lead our football program and we look forward to having this person lead our transition from MAIS to MHSAA," PCS Athletic Director Drew Mattison said. "The future of PCS football is very bright.”
