A woman was recently arrested for unnatural intercourse with a dog – which is the second time she has been incarcerated for such acts – along with a man who also was allegedly involved in the incident.
According to the website of the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Denise Nicole Frazier was arrested by officers from the Hattiesburg Police Department on February 29 and charged with one count of attempted unnatural intercourse (warrant) and one count of unnatural intercourse.
The arrest was made after video surfaced of her having sexual intercourse with a dog. Frazier, whose address is listed on the website as Purvis, was booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
“(This case) is under very close investigation – and I do mean very close investigation,” said Sherri Marengo, who serves as public information officer for the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office.
Eighteen-year-old Skyler English of Hattiesburg was arrested the same day and charged with accessory after the fact. He also was booked into the Forrest County Correctional Facility.
During an initial appearance March 1, Frazier’s bond was set at a total of $20,000 - $10,000 for each charge – by Forrest County Justice Court Judge Zach Vaughn. However, because this is Frazier’s second violation, Vaughn revoked a previous bond for Vaughn in Jones County, meaning that even if Frazier did bond out in Forrest County, she would be remanded by to the custody of Jones County officials.
Vaughn set English’s bond at $10,000. According the sheriff’s website, English was no longer being held in the jail as of March 4.
In April 2023, Frazier was arrested by Jones County deputies and charged with unnatural intercourse/aggravated animal cruelty after allegedly having sex with a German Shepherd. Jones County Justice Court Judge Grant Hedgepeth then set Frazier’s bond at $25,000 and ordered her to stay away from animals.
