Two individuals have been arrested in relation to a recent shooting in Hattiesburg that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old juvenile.
Officials with the Hattiesburg Police Department said 18-year-old Dennis Swails of Hattiesburg was arrested at approximately 10 p.m. July 29 and charged with second-degree murder, as well as tampering with evidence.
Swails was booked into the Forrest County Jail.
On August 1, officers arrested a 17-year-old juvenile in connection with the incident. He was charged with accessory after the fact of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
The shooting incident took place July 29 in the 500 block of North 19th Avenue. No other information is available at this time.
