Lilith Marie “Lili” Shubert came into this world as the most beautiful angel on August 29, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Her adoring parents, Zachary and Rebecca Shubert, were joyfully awaiting her precious arrival, which was scheduled to take place only 20 days later.
Lili was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chris Crawford.
Lili is survived by her grandparents, Rob Doherty of Hattiesburg, Samantha Ginn (Rex) of McComb and Bryan and Heather Gibboney of Poplarville. She is also survived by a host of loving aunts and uncles, Amanda Lee (Marty) of Hattiesburg, Ryan Doherty of Laurel, Drew Muela of Poplarville and Dominic Shubert (Jessica) of Carrierre.
A private memorial ceremony will be held on September 21, 2025.
Her Journey
Don’t think of her as gone away,
her journey’s just begun.
Life holds so many facets,
this Earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting,
from the sorrow and the tears.
In a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living,
in the hearts of those she touched.
For nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much.
