Hattiesburg Police Department’s PAL Program, an after-school program designed to provide a safe, structured environment for youth during after-school hours, has opened its registration until July 30. The program will officially start Aug. 19 and will operate Monday through Friday from 3 – 6 p.m.
The program is open to children between the ages of 8 and 13, and transportation is provided from Hattiesburg Public Schools. There is a $50 activity fee, and registration can be completed at the Lt. Ben McNair Recreation Center, located at 300 North 12th Avenue, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
