PEARL – Sumrall made it tough on itself, but in the end the Bobcats did what they had to do in order to play another game.
Sumrall banged out 15 hits, built a big early lead, then hung on to defeat Ripley 10-7 Thursday in Game 2 of the Class 4A State Championship Series at Trustmark Park.
