As a mother of two children with special needs, Bridgette Lang knows first-hand the challenges that many families face. After meeting and spending time with other moms trying to navigate those same struggles, she was inspired to create Hope for Jay.
Hope for Jay is dedicated to addressing financial insecurity by offering crisis intervention and life skills training. They aim to empower individuals through self-acceptance, self-awareness and a sense of accomplishment while also providing support to families of children with disabilities or special healthcare needs.
With a special focus on financial awareness and self-acceptance, Hope for Jay equips families with the right tools and knowledge to help them achieve financial stability and fulfillment. They have seen remarkable success stories through their programs. After attending the program’s workshops, families managed to develop a sustainable budget which greatly improved their quality of life.
Hope for Jay’s second annual “A Kid with a Heart” birthday party for Bridgette’s son will take place in April with the mission of feeding the under-housed in our community.
