Hattiesburg quarterback Deuce Vance has been selected as Mr. Football for Class 6A.
Vance, who is committed to South Alabama, has thrown for 1,851 yards,18 touchdowns and two interceptions, which has helped the Hattiesburg achieve a perfect 10-0 record.
He is the first player to win the honor since Jarod 'Snoop' Conner back in 2018.
Vance has run for 593 yards and nine touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, the senior has contributed five tackles and two pass break ups as a defensive back.
Undefeated Hattiesburg has clinched the Region 3-6A title and clinched a No. 1 seed in the playoffs. The Tigers will face Hancock next Friday, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
