Oak Grove quarterback AJ Maddox threw for two touchdowns in the Warriors' win. Maddox connected with JQ Gray and Devontae Holder on his touchdown passes. The Warriors (1-0) travel to play Wayne County next week.

The Aggies snapped their 15-game losing streak, and start the season with a win over the Bulldogs. FCAHS (1-0) goes on the road to face Pass Christian next week.
Sumrall 14, South Jones 7
The Bobcats open the season with a win and move to 1-0. Sumrall travels to play Bay High next week.
Purvis 33, Lumberton 28
Purvis (1-0) will host Leake Central next week while Lumberton (0-1) goes on the road to play Lawrence County.

The Eagles (0-1) host Ressurection for their home opener next week.

The Crusaders (0-1) hits the road to play West Lincoln.
*Petal 21, Hattiesburg 18
Petal defeated Hattiesburg on Saturday as the Panthers move to 1-0 and the Tigers fall to 0-1. Petal goes on the road next week to face Broohaven while Hattiesburg will host Ocean Springs.
