The Bobcats snapped their four-game losing streak as they improve to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in district play. PCS will travel to play Jackson Academy next week.
Sacred Heart 17, Lumberton 7
The Crusaders move to 8-0 and 3-0 in region play, with the Panthers dropping to 4-4 overall and 2-1 in region play. Sacred Heart will return home to face Resurrection Catholic next week, while Lumberton travels to face Salem.
Hattiesburg 49, Forest Hill 20
The Tigers come off the bye week and open region play with a win as they improve to 5-2 overall and 1-0 region play. Hattiesburg travels to play Pearl River Central next week.
North Forrest 48, Richton 20
The Eagles snapped their five-game losing streak and picked up their first region win this season. North Forrest (3-5, 1-2) will travel to play Mize.
Lawrence County 72, Purvis 68 4 OT
The Tornadoes drop a wild game as they fall to to 4-4 overall 1-2 in region play. Purvis stays on the road next week to face Northwest Lauderdale.
Brandon 38, Oak Grove 20
The Warriors lose their first game of the season as they fall to 6-1 and 1-1 in region play. Oak Grove travels to play Northwest Rankin.
Pearl 40, Petal 21
The Panthers lose their fourth game in the last five weeks as they fall to 3-4 overall and 0-2 in region play. They travel to face Meridian next week.
Columbia 35, Sumrall 7
The Bobcats drop three of their last four games as they fall to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in region play. Sumrall goes on the road to Forrest County AHS next week. Notably, FCAHS experienced a bye this week.
