The Panthers won the game with a 10-yard touchdown pass as time expired and improve to 2-1. Lumberton will now host Wesson.
Petal 38, Columbia 14
The Panthers win their second straight game to move to 2-1. Petal will go on the road to face Hancock next week.
Hattiesburg 27, Oak Grove 21
The Tigers (3-0) defeat the Warriors (2-1) for the first time since 2018. Both teams will be on the road next week. Hattiesburg will travel to face Biloxi, while Oak Grove will head to Jackson to face Madison-Ridgeland Academy.
Purvis 36, North Forrest 6
The Tornadoes get their first win of the season as they improve to 1-2, while the Eagles fall to 1-2. North Forrest will return home to face Perry Central. Purvis goes on the road to face Long Beach.
Vancleave 17, FCAHS 14
The Aggies drop their first game of the season as they fall to 2-1. FCAHS will host Greene County next week.
Seminary 34, Sumrall 0
The Bobcats are still searching for their first win as they drop to 0-3. Sumrall will stay on the road and face West Marion
Hartfield Academy 71, PCS 0
The Bobcats drop to 3-1 and will be on a bye next week.
