The Eagles are off to their first 2-0 start since 2010, while Lumberton drops to 0-2 for a third straight season. North Forrest will host Purvis next week, while Lumberton hosts West Marion.

Oak Grove improves to 2-0 on the season after defeating Hoover in overtime. The Warriors travel to play crosstown rival Hattiesburg next week.
Petal 54, St. Martin 31
The Panthers shutout St. Martin in the second half and outscored the Yellow Jackets 21-0 to secure a 2-0 start to the season. Petal goes on the road to face Columbia.

The Bobcats move to 2-0 and return home to face Seminary next week.

The Crusaders move to 2-0 and travel to play St. Andrew’s Episcopal next week.

The Aggies pick up their first win and improve to 1-1. FCAHS will host Vancleave next week.

The Bobcats move to 2-1 and will now prepare to head to Hartfield Academy in their conference opener.

The Tornadoes drop to 1-1 and prepare to travel to North Forrest.
