The Bobcats improve to 2-0 and will travel to play Resurrection Catholic next week.

The Aggies start the year 1-0 and will host Long Beach next week.
Lumberton 27, Purvis 14
The Panthers start the year 1-0, and Tornadoes drop to 0-1. Lumberton will travel to play North Forrest next week, while Purvis will host Pass Christian.
Pisgah 34, North Forrest 32
The Eagles start the year 0-1 and will host Lumberton.
South Jones 13, Sumrall 0
The Bobcats open the year 0-1, and will host West Harrison next week.
Hattiesburg 7, Petal 3
The Tigers open the year 1-0 and come away with their first victory in the Leaf River Rivalry since 2018. Hattiesburg will Laurel next week for the annual Lil' Brown Jug game. Petal (0-1) will host St. Martin for its home opener.
