On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, Hattiesburg police charged an individual in an ongoing identity theft investigation.
Michael Griffin, 29, of Hattiesburg, was arrested and charged with one count of identity theft, in connection to using an elderly female's bank account for his own gain over the course of two years.
Griffin has been booked into the Forrest County Jail, and additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
