In association with Downtown Hattiesburg Association and the Area Development Partnership, Counseling Associates of Hattiesburg held its ribbon cutting and grand opening at 10 a.m. on Friday. The celebration marks the opening of a new mental healthcare service provider in the heart of downtown Hattiesburg on Main Street.
Counseling Associates of Hattiesburg provides mental health services to individuals ages 6 and up, both in-person and via telehealth. The clinic currently accepts United Healthcare, UMR, UBH, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Tricare, and is in the process of accepting Medicaid and Medicare.
The practice is proud to have two providers trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and one skilled in somatic processing interventions, offering a comprehensive range of therapeutic services.
“We have a strong team and are excited to work together to support the mental health needs of our community,” said the team at Counseling Associates of Hattiesburg.
