Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department arrested Southern Miss freshman quarterback John White on Monday.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of White being arrested on social media with a caption that reads:
“This spring breaker got a notice to appear for underage possession of alcohol at 5:45 on the beach yesterday but apparently didn’t learn a lesson. He was caught again 30 minutes later in the pool area of the Villages of Crystal so that mean taking a ride to jail! 253 NTAs (notices to appear) have been issued so far.”
According to the Okaloosa Department of Corrections jail docket, White was arrested for liquor possession by a person under 21 years of age. It is White’s first offense and a misdemeanor. He was later released on Tuesday by his own recognizance.
White is the son of Mississippi's Speaker of the House Jason White.
