Hattiesburg launched their first major update to the Hattiesburg Comprehensive Plan since 2008 back in Feb. 2025. In doing so, this gives residents, community members, business and property owners the opportunity to have a say in the planning of the city’s future. To receive input from the community, there will be meetings held at the following:

-3 p.m. at Wesley Manor, 246 Westover Drive
-5 p.m. at Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center, 220 West Front Street
-7 p.m. at Lillie Burney Learning Center, 901 Ida Avenue
Friday, July 18
-9 a.m. at Mo’Bay Beignet Company, 2902 Hardy Street
-12 p.m. at Eureka School, 409 West 7th Street
-5 p.m. at the Timberton Clubhouse, 22 Clubhouse Road
-7 p.m. at Fat Cat, 309 McLeod Street
Saturday, July 19
-10 a.m. at the Trent Lott Center at the University of Southern Mississippi, 6197 US Highway 49
-12 p.m. at Wilkes Dining Hall at William Carey University, 710 William Carey Parkway
-2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 115 North 25th Avenue
