The Small Business Development Center at the University of Southern Mississippi will host a virtual training session on QuickBooks, an accounting software package offered by Intuit, from 9-11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14.
The training session is free. The presenter is John Stumph of Mount Olive, who is the owner of JS Accounting & Information Systems Consulting, LLC.
Stumph is also recognized by Intuit as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Participants are encouraged to bring questions for a live question and answer session following Stumph’s presentation.

The center, which opened in March 2015, provides training workshops and one-on-one counseling to pre-venture clients, prospective entrepreneurs, micro-businesses, and small or medium-sized businesses.
It is supported in its work by the College of Business and Economic Development and the staff at the Trent Lott National Center.
Center staff members support business clients within Clarke, Covington, Forrest, Greene, Jasper, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamas, Marion, Perry and Wayne counties.
The center is a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
