William Carey University’s Hattiesburg and Biloxi/Tradition campuses will host “Carey Bound” on Saturday, March 22.
“Carey Bound is a chance for students to register for classes early and get a smooth launch into student life. They can tour the campuses, ask questions and meet some of the Carey family before they join us for the summer or fall terms,” said Dr. Wes Dykes, associate vice president of recruitment.
Students who have been admitted to WCU can visit the come-and-go events from 9 a.m. until noon:
At the Hattiesburg campus, Carey Bound will be at the King Student Center. Students who have already applied for admission can meet with advisors to register early for summer or fall – and get first choice of available classes and meeting times. There will also be a Student Activities Fair. Free lunch starts at 11:30, followed by a Crusaders baseball game.
At the Biloxi/Tradition campus, Carey Bound will be at Scianna Hall, in the first-floor Belmont Room. Advisors and faculty members will be on hand for tours and to help students who have already applied register for summer and fall classes.
Students who haven’t yet applied to William Carey are also welcome. Admissions counselors will be available at both locations to help with the application process. If these students bring their ACT scores or transcripts, they will likely be able to register for classes in the same trip.
For admitted students who prefer to meet with advisors online, WCU offers a virtual version of Carey Bound on Friday, March 21. Contact WCU Admissions to request an appointment.
