Behind a very potent offensive approach the Bulldogs raced past Oak Grove 13-1 in a run-ruled five innings in Game 2 to sweep the MHSAA Class 7A South State Championship series on Wednesday night at Mark Vinson Field.

Petal falls to Northwest Rankin in Game 1 of South State

FLOWOOD — Northwest Rankin is now one away from headed back to the 7A state championship series.

The Lady Cougars scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings to rally past Petal 5-2 in Game 1 of the MHSAA Class 7A South State Championship series on Wednesday night.
