Southern Pines Animal Shelter is making all black dogs and cats free to adopt from Nov. 18 - Nov. 26. The shelter’s doors will be open from noon until 5pm each day except Wednesday. With a variety of lovable personalities, energy levels, sizes, and shapes, there is sure to be the perfect pet for you to fall in love with.
There’s also a very important reason for this adoption special. “Our shelter is seeing a historically high length of stay for dogs,” says Amanda Paris, Shelter Director of Southern Pines, “meaning adoptable dogs are staying in the shelter longer than ever before being adopted. Unfortunately, black pets are often overlooked and end up waiting even longer for their new family. So, this Black Friday special is the perfect way to celebrate all the wonderful black pets we have available for adoption and get them home for the holidays.”
