Love is in the air at Southern Pines Animal Shelter! This Valentine’s season, the shelter is hosting a heartwarming, fee-waived adoption event to help pets find their perfect match. From Friday Feb. 7th through Sunday Feb. 9th, adoption fees for all adult dogs will be completely FREE—just in time to welcome your furry new Valentine into your life.
Southern Pines is kicking off 2025 with a mission straight from the heart: making pet adoption more accessible, affordable, and filled with love. Because everyone deserves a furry best friend, and each shelter pet deserves a loving home.
This year, Southern Pines is doubling down on its commitment to removing barriers to pet adoption and enhancing support for pet owners. Through reduced adoption fees, affordable spay/neuter and wellness services, and expanded resources, the shelter is making it easy for families to welcome a pet into their lives and make sure it has the care it needs!
The shelter’s doors will be open from noon until 5pm during the event, and they will have adoptable dogs available at PetSmart from 11-4 on Saturday Feb. 8th. The shelter is just brimming with affectionate pups who can’t wait to meet you! So, celebrate love this Valentine’s season by bringing home a new best friend.
