POPLARVILLE — The No. 5 Pearl River Wildcats lost two closely contested baseball games Tuesday night to No. 7 Jones College 9-8 and 6-5.
The Wildcats (32-11 overall, 17-9 MACJC) went back and forth with the Bobcats (34-8, 18-6) through both contests but were not able to keep up the rallies.
