Forrest General Hospital to serve as clinical site for PRCC’s New Ultrasound Program

With the help of Forrest General Hospital’s Radiology department, students in Pearl River Community College’s first diagnostic medical sonography program will gain valuable experience. The DMS program, which began with the fall semester in August, is a 12-month program.

Pearl River soccer standouts Alex Emery (Gulfport; West Harrison) and Lucy Conway (Portsmouth, England.) have been named the first Wildcats of the Week for the 2022-23 athletic year.

ALEX EMERY

Emery earned the award after scoring three goals across victories over Itawamba and No. 20 Mineral Area.

Pearl River volleyball splits doubleheader

The Pearl River volleyball team hit the road Saturday for a doubleheader against Mississippi University for Women and Pensacola Christian. The Wildcats swept the first match against MUW 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, and 25-13) but fell in match two 3-0 (20-25, 21-25, and 19-25) despite late rallies.
