Pearl River men ease past East Central to advance to Region 23 Semifinal

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The Pearl River men's basketball team returned to form Monday night in the Region 23 Quarterfinals against East Central, crushing the Warriors 84-62. PRCC now advances to the Region 23 Semifinal on Wednesday against Itawamba. The Wildcats and Indians will play at 5:30 p.m. in Ellisville.

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The No. 14 Pearl River women's basketball dominated in the second half Monday night in the Region 23 Quarterfinals against LSU Eunice to advance to the Semifinals for a fourth consecutive season. The Wildcats took down the Bengals 70-49.

No. 5 Pearl River trounces No. 16 South Arkansas

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The No. 5 Pearl River baseball team finished off an incredible weekend Saturday afternoon by crushing No. 16 South Arkansas 17-0 in seven innings. It was PRCC's third ranked victory of the weekend after previously beating No. 9 Southeastern and the Stars on Friday.

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The No. 5 Pearl River baseball team passed another test Friday afternoon at Dub Herring Park, earning a pair of ranked victories over No. 9 Southeastern and No. 16 South Arkansas. The Wildcats took the opener against the Blackhawks 5-2 and followed with a 7-4 victory over the Stars.
