6-Seed Pearl River grabs statement win in Region 23 opener

If the 6-seed Pearl River softball team was trying to make a statement in its Region 23 Tournament opener, its mission was accomplished.

The Wildcats took the field and blasted 3-seed LSU Eunice, scoring in all but one inning to run-rule the Bengals 10-2 in six innings.

Pearl River baseball set to host Region 23 Tournament

No. 18 Pearl River splits with No. 11 Northeast in regular season finale

The No. 18 Pearl River softball team wrapped up the regular season Saturday afternoon, splitting a doubleheader against No. 11 Northeast.

The Wildcats dropped the opener 3-1 but responded with a 6-2 game-two win.
