No. 2 JCJC Bobcats’ winning streak now at 18 games

GOODMAN – No. 2 Jones County took two from Holmes here Wednesday afternoon at Charlie Donald Field.

JCJC scored seven runs in the sixth inning and won game one, 12-2 in six innings. The Bobcats then completed the sweep over the Bulldogs with an 8-3 decision in game two.

PRCC rallies to sweep doubleheader at Holmes

POPLARVILLE – Pearl River Community College got its offense back on track Saturday in sweeping an MACJC doubleheader against Holmes.

The Wildcats made short work of the Bulldogs, rapping out 15 hits in a 16-1 victory in the opener, then scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to complete the sweep 10-9 at Goodman.
