Lorese Clark Daughdrill died Nov. 10, 2019, at Magnolia Gardens Adult Facility. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Taylorsville with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
Mrs. Daughdrill was a member of Green’s Creek Baptist Church. She taught piano from her home for students of all ages. She was a school teacher in the Mississippi Public Schools system for 10 years, before becoming a substitute teacher for the Petal School District.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Clayton F. Daughdrill of Petal; her two sons, Jerry C. Daughdrill of Petal and Larry S. Daughdrill of Richton; her daughter, Melody Lorese Osborne of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Helen Loftin and Florence Musgrove, both of Calhoun; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Daniel Cranford, formerly of Seminary, died Nov. 10 at Forrest General Hospital. Services were Nov. 17 at Court Street United Methodist Church.
Mr. Cranford was a self-employed CPA, a member of the Gideon's International, and a member of Court Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Danelle Dees of Pass Christian and Donna Craft of Sem; one sister, Margie Shuler of Allen, Texas; six grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Lonnie James Davis Jr.
73, of Sumrall
Lonnie James Davis Jr., formerly of Lake Worth and Vero Beach, Fla., died Nov. 10 at Windham House in Hattiesburg. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at First Church of God in Laure.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at First Church of God in Laurel, 1635 Grandview Drive.
Mr. Davis retired as a citrus Fruit Quality Control Harvesting Manager from Indian Trail Harvesters in Vero Beach, Fla., and was a member of First Church of God in Laurel.
Survivors include one son, Lonnie J. Davis III of Conover, NC; two sons, Kimrick Daniel Miles of Valencia, Calif. and Jimmie Nathan Miles of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren.
Harold D. Hartfield
86, of Hattiesburg
Harold D. Hartfield died Nov. 8, 2019, at his home. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Oak Hill Pentecostal Church with services immediately following at 3 p.m. and burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Hartfield was a member of West Rock Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Mae Hartfield of Hattiesburg; one son, Johnny Hartfield of Hattiesburg; two grandsons; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Freddie Hartfield of Poplarville and Haschel Hartfield of Poplarville; and three sisters, Virginia Keyes of Collins, Linda Ashe of Poplarville, and Verna Haik of Bogalusa.

Julius “Shorty” Lee died Nov. 8, 2019, at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab. Services were Nov. 12 with burial in McLaurin Cemetery.
Mr. Lee attended Glendale Baptist Church. He was a truck driver. He served in the United States Navy. He later joined the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include two brothers, Gene Lee of Huntsville, Ala. and Carl Ray Lee of McLaurin; three sons, Michael Blackwell of Glendale, Robbie Blackwell of Hattiesburg, and Jeffery Blackwell of Quitman; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Bobby D. Miller
71, of Hattiesburg
Bobby D. Miller died Nov. 2, 2019, at his home. Services were Nov. 7 at Court Street United Methodist Church with burial in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
Mr. Miller retired from F&S Prestress Company and was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Miller of Hattiesburg; one son, Bobby Lee Miller; four daughters, Nancy Miller, Christina Moody, Patricia Aguilar and Francys Albertson, all of Hattiesburg; one brother, James Miller of Moss Point; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Thomas Ray Patterson
94, of Sumrall
Thomas Ray Patterson died Nov. 12, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital. Services will be Nov. 15 at Midway First Baptist Church with burial in the church Midway First Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Midway First Baptist Church.
Mr. Patterson was born June 19, 1925, to Ed and Fanny Patterson in Sumrall. He was a member of Midway First Baptist Church. He worked for Big Yank Corporation for more than 40 years and was a cattle farmer. Mr. Patterson served in the U.S. Army in the 803rd Engineer Aviation Battalion during World War II from 1945-1947.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Dema Patterson of Sumrall; four sons, Tommy Patterson, Michael Patterson , Joseph Patterson, and Ted Patterson, all of Sumrall; one daughter, Deborah Sullivan of Seminary; three siblings, Margaret Bond, Billie Housley, and Polly Everett; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Scott Aaron Pierpont

Scott Aaraon Pierpont died Nov. 6, 2019, in Shepherd, Texas.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Forrest Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
Mr. Pierpont was born Oct. 8, 1984, in Hattiesburg ro Charles Edward Pierpont Jr. and Ellen Louise (Knapp) Pierpont.

Mr. Saia was born Oct. 14, 1949, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Mrs. Shoemake was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Callie Turner; husband, Kenith Shoemake; sons, James Samuel Thomas and John Timothy Thomas;

Thomas Grant "Tommy" Treadway died Nov. 10 at Forrest General Hospital. Services were Nov. 13.
Mr. Treadway retired from Rice Environmental as a heavy equipment operator after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah B. Treadway of Beaumont; daughters, Melissa Courtney Breland of Beaumont, Jessie Wiggers of Buck Creek Community; sister, Patsy Romero of LaCombe, La.; mother-in-law, Helen Brewer of Beaumont; three grandsons; one granddaughter.

Kenneth David Williams died Nov. 8, 2019, at Bedford Care Hospice in Hattiesburg. Services were Nov. 11 at Military Baptist Church with burial in Military Baptist Church Cemetery, Sumrall.
Mr. Williams was a welder and a painter. He was a member of Military Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Dwayne Williams of LaCombe, La.; twin daughters, Rhonda Anglin of Orange City, Fla., and Wanda King of Columbia, Shirley Godwin of Pensacola, Fla., and BrendaMcDaniel of Sumrall; one sister, Linda Burns Smith of Moselle; 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Ronnie J. Yawn died Nov. 9, 2019, at Bedford Care Center. Services were Nov. 13 at Moore Purvis Chapel with burial in Chambliss Cemetery.
Mrs. Yawn was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
