The Lumberton Panthers look to avenge last year’s early exit from the playoffs as they host McAdams (6-5) Friday night.

Lumberton finished the regular season undefeated in district play and look to keep that streak alive as they start the playoffs.


Warriors clinch playoff spot with win against Northwest Rankin

With the playoffs on the line on Senior night, Oak Grove Coach Drew Causey’s Warriors made a loud statement as they clinched their spot with a 38-21 victory over visiting Northwest Rankin.

The Warriors (8-3, 5-2) put on a scoring clinic against the Cougars (3-8, 3-4) by throwing up points in each quarter. 


Lumberton dominates on Senior Night

In a night where temperatures dipped to the mid 40’s, the Lumberton Panthers were red hot enroute to a 50-16 win over visiting Mount Olive. The night was full of energy as the Panthers dominated for the majority of the game on senior night.






Tough road game ahead; USM facing division foe

Preseason predictions had North Texas, Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech to be the top three football teams in Conference USA’s West Division.

Last week, Southern Miss (4-2 overall, 2-0 C-USA) handled North Texas 45-27 to sweep aside one of its primary rivals.
