PHOTOS: Petal sweeps FCAHS

The girls and boys’ Petal basketball teams earned its first win of the season over Forrest County AHS Tuesday night.

The Lady Panthers beat the Lady Aggies in a 10-point, 48-38 game, while the Panthers turned in a dominant performance with a 68-45 win. Both teams are now 1-0 after playing classic games over the weekend.

He’s had many animals in his life. Some were normal pets like a few dogs, a cat, a few birds or a couple of rabbits, and some were more on the stranger side like his ball python and an iguana.

Petal's Dykes signs with JCJC

Petal senior Hunter Dykes took all of two hours to decide to make his commitment to play baseball at Jones County Junior College. When he was first offered a scholarship over the summer, he quickly called back.

“In about two hours, I made my decision and called right back,” Dykes said.
